Afternoon shift Electrician

Leader is a New Zealand based manufacturer of ‘quick, easy, delicious' frozen convenience foods located in Otahuhu. Our vast range of products include: Meatballs, Burger Patties, Toppa, Finger Foods, Meal Solutions, Schnitzels, Gluten Free, Vegan, Vegetarian.

Our portfolio has been created with the goal of being delicious convenient food for busy kiwi business, families and entertainers and we have been bringing innovation to the table for 20 years.

We are currently seeking a passionate Maintenance Electrician with a proven history of effective planned and preventative maintenance experience to join our team.

Work hours: Monday to Friday 3pm to midnight incluing rostered weekend.

As an experienced Maintenance Electrician, you will ensure day-to-day maintenance excellence with a focus on minimising downtime and maximising efficiency. You will also be responsible for ensuring the sound operation of all electrical installations and maintenance of plant equipment. Successful candidates will ideally have previous experience with FMCG processing and have a passion for continuous improvement.

You will bring with you a broad experience of electrical work and have a keen eye for fault finding and understand the sense of urgency in regard to production breakdowns. If you are a registered electrician and enjoy working in a high performing team, this may be the role for you.

The successful applicant will have following skills:

  • NZ Registered with current practicing license
  • Experienced in industrial installation
  • PLC and VSD Experience
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • High standard of workmanship
  • Physically fit
  • Be self-driven and motivated
  • Be a team player
